The Service Department Coordinator will provide an elevated customer service to our Service Customers. This position is especially important to our business, as you will provide critical information and assistance to our customers. The individual must be professional in appearance and attitude; organized, efficient, motivated, have a strong work ethic, a great attitude and be a team player. The coordinator must be a great communicator- you will have to communicate with customers in person, via phone, email, and text, regarding their service visits. The coordinator works closely with the service advisors to ensure that our customers are provided with timely and thorough service for their vehicles.

• Excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning about the automotive business, leading to future growth into a service advisor or sales position.

• Place outbound calls and answer incoming service phone calls, advising customers on repair status, scheduling of service appointments, and reminder of services due.

• Maintains and communicates basic knowledge of company services (labor rates, service pricing on basic services (I.e., oil changes, tire rotation, New York State Inspections, warranty information, vehicle maintenance schedule, etc.)

• Provides support to the service team and management with a variety of support responsibilities (I.e., scanning, filing, using deferred services list to try and capture potential lost sales).

• May assist with completing documentation, managing the loaner fleet, checking on special order parts, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Ability to work effectively, communicates, and works in a fast paced environment. Punctual, consistent, and reliable attendance is required .

• Hours- 7:30am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri. May need to fill in on a Sat 7am-lpm for a backup or if other BOC representative is on vacation but will be notified in advance. Pay based on experience
