The Manager, Global Events and Sales Support will be responsible for planning, implementing, budgeting, and onsite management of highly complex meetings and conferences in a global market. S/he will oversee and be accountable for budgets, offer strategic insights on location, agenda creation and program content and work closely with leadership to ensure the meetings metrics are met and to optimize stakeholder participation. Events include but not limited to: National and International Sales meetings, Regional events, international Distributor events, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and customer visits held either onsite and/or at various offsite locations. S/he will also be responsible to lead event strategy and execution that is aligned with Breg standards and to ensure that customer centric endeavors are met at all events.
Your day will be very busy you will:
- Plans, coordinates, and executes all company-sponsored events, including trade shows, conferences, seminars, customer, and sales appreciation events.
- Plans, selects, and manages all logistics for events such as meeting space, food and beverage and corporate room blocks for events to include hotels, caterers, restaurants, etc.
- Oversees the design and production of event materials, signage, and promotional items, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with company messaging.
- Owns the execution of events from RFP (Request for Proposals), venue sourcing and site selection for best fit locations and evaluates vendor services and venues according to industry standards and stakeholder requirements; communicates and gains buy-in on recommendations. This includes hotel, vendor, and contract negotiations.
- Works with leadership to prepare annual event budgets. Provides monthly budget reports and accruals. Manages expenses per event to ensure spend meets forecasting, review reconciliation with finance numbers. Processes and tracks invoices and payments.
- Works with Directors and Vice Presidents to develop and implement post-show reporting, ROI (Return on Investment) and debrief materials, continually developing and implementing processes and procedures for event management tools. Provides post-show wrap-up and executive summary report highlighting target goals and achievements.
- Works closely with Product Managers and Regional Directors as needed depending on their involvement with any event(s). Develops and manages project timelines and action plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners and ensure all deadlines are communicated, understood and met.
- Provides support to Sales leadership as well as National and International Directors.
- Leadership responsibilities include the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; performs administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration and other matters related to employment.
- Assesses staff and provides timely and consistent feedback regarding technical proficiency and effectiveness. Provides constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement to employees regarding job performance. Works with staff to identify work goals and create individual development plans. Evaluates training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.
What your background will be:
- Bachelors degree is required. A degree in marketing or related field is preferred.
- 5+ years corporate tradeshow and event management experience is required.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events, with demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and logistics effectively.
- Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint capabilities. Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.
- Event Planning Certification is preferred.

Salary Range
$90,000 - $112,000
