IronRoad is conducting a confidential search for an Inside Sales Associate for our Cincinnati, Ohio client. The Inside Sales Associate will greet customers as they come into the store, you will be responsible for showing/explaining products and demonstrating tools when necessary. The Inside Sales Associate will also take phone calls to answer questions and take orders over the phone as needed. The ideal candidate would have a passion for woodworking and tools and be a people person who can interact with customers face to face.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and answer questions in the store
• Answer phone calls and take orders over the phone .
• Work with cash register and credit cards to process payments
• Receive stock, price it and put it away on the showroom floor
• Assemble machinery that will be displayed on the showroom floor
• Learn about the machinery and tool brands that we sell and help customers decide what products they need
• Have the ability to demonstrate tools and machines for customers when needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in a customer service position with an ability for identifying customer needs.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to use computers efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to help with store social media pages and marketing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time - M-F 8:00 to 4:00 (Occasional Saturdays 9:00 to 1:00 from October through March))

Salary/Pay Range: $21- $24 per hour based on skills and experience determined by the hiring manager
