Job Summary:
Be a part of our fast-growing company at Elevated Taste Catering. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to take on the challenge of a Catering Sales Coordinator in partnership with several different Parker premier venues. The Catering Sales Coordinator will effectively serve as a point of contact for events, be creative in marketing and solicit new business. The Catering Sales Coordinator collaborates directly with the clients to guarantee that the event is successful. Managing client relationships and upholding employee and vendor relations is key to operating a successful catering event service. To be successful in this role, you should have a personable demeanor, a passion for customer service, as well as good networking and management skills.
Duties:
Solicitation of new Elevated Taste Catering business, including networking and development of catering sales and opportunities.
- Work in partnership with premier venues and coordinate catering of food for clients.
- Respond to catering leads within 24 hours.
- Coordinate and meet with clients on details of the event. Details include menu planning, event timeline, and table food dcor, delivery presentation and event follow-up.
- Prepare contracts for clients, including food and beverage menu, rental equipment, and event staffing.
- Ensure client payments are made in accordance to Elevated Taste contract requirements.
- Effectively communicate and present catering information in various group settings.
- Communicate with Executive Chef regarding menu items and logistics and all catering event details.
- Exhibit excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit excellent time management skills.
- Maintain proper attitude, professionalism, and teamwork in areas of customer service and catering operations.
- Perform any and all other operational tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Create and send weekly reports and update weekly status directly to management.
Develop a sales strategy for new and reoccurring businesses.
Ability to operate catering software.
- Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work as part of a team, and independently on tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Ability to have a flexible schedule with availability of working nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to regularly stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, talk, walk, carry, and lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
- Reliable transportation to, and from, work. May need to use personal vehicle to go to off-site catering events.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Parker, CO: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education and or Work Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
- 2+ years Catering Sales Coordinator experience required or hospitality experience.
- Strong computer skills required. Familiarity with catering software preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required.
