Compensation Range
About This Job
The Product Manager opportunity will support the growth and profitability of the assigned product(s), including the identification and development of new product opportunities. As Product Manager, you will represent the voice of the customer while collaborating closely with the Commercial and Healthcare Specialty sales organization, marketing, bank operations, IT, legal and compliance to accomplish this goal.
Essential Functions
Be the voice of the customer and utilize customer empathy to deliver customer-centric solutions
Gain insight into customer needs, identify and validate market problems, and design and propose solutions to market problems
Contribute to the development and implementation of healthcare specialty product strategy, functionality, business initiatives, and tasks
Maintain an open line of communication across multiple lines of business, including sales, marketing, operations and IT
Facilitate and lead task-based meetings, such as priority or status meetings as needed
Effectively participate in team meetings related to their product(s) and provide meaningful feedback and insights
Own the vision for product enhancements/innovation and share openly
Document process flows and high-level product overviews
Document and communicate product development requests and requirements to the development team
Work closely with development team to ensure functionality requirements are accurate and timely
Assist with User Acceptance Testing during development, production releases, and as needed
Contribute to the product rollout alongside partners including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, IT, Customer Support
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Working knowledge of the healthcare products industry and competitive landscape as it relates to assigned product, including knowledge of best practices
Analytical thinker capable of problem identification and resolution
Good understanding of the business, competition, appropriate rule-making bodies, etc.
Basic understanding of compliance and legal matters that impact their product and business definitions
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
2+ years of Product Management or related experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle required
Certifications from Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Scrum Alliance or similar, and the Pragmatic Institute preferred

At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $78,500 to $105,000 annually. Depending on the job level, this position may be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
