Full description of the position
Vice President of Sales Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Design targeted sales campaigns to penetrate new markets and increase revenue.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to refine strategies.
- Sales Team Leadership and Structure:
- Build and lead high-performing sales teams across regions or product lines.
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for sales personnel.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture.
- Sales Campaign Management:
- Create and oversee sales campaigns, including product launches and promotions.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent messaging and effective lead generation.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust tactics as needed.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Develop robust reporting mechanisms to track sales performance, pipeline, and KPIs.
- Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales progress and challenges.
- Forecast sales targets and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Address client concerns, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Leverage client feedback to enhance product offerings and service delivery.
- Financial Oversight and Budgeting:
- Manage sales budgets, resource allocation, and cost control.
- Optimize resource utilization to maximize ROI.
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive healthcare sales experience, including executive leadership roles.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Experience in structuring and leading sales teams.
