The Job
The B2B National Accounts Representative will communicate to a large volume of new and existing National Account customers via phone calls, webinars, and e-mail in order to generate sales. This role is responsible for qualifying National Account customers to identify business needs, and then coaching Ace Retailers to execute a sales strategy that will capture more of their purchases. The ideal candidate must be comfortable making calls, generating interest, qualifying prospects, articulating national programs, identifying top performing customers with high potential and leading through influence.
What youll do:
- Identify business opportunities and deliver sales growth through existing and new customer base
- Communicate to customers effectively through phone calls, emails, and webinars. Execute a customer communication strategy and develop customer relationships.
- Host Website Adoption Meetings to educate customers and Ace Retailers to utilize online purchasing tools as well as directing purchasers into Ace retail stores.
- Understand the needs of various National Account customers and use independent judgement in regard to products and services that would be beneficial to customer.
- Coach Retailers on the importance of B2B and the specific opportunities identified.
- Effectively communicate and build cross functional relationships to promote Aces National Account program to internal stakeholders.
- Utilize Aces CRM tool to manage customer relationships from initial contact through first and subsequent purchases
- Maintain customer and retailer facing documents and resources pertaining to National Accounts on Acenet, acehardware.com and customer portals.
What you will need:
Knowledge, Experience, and Competencies:
Experience and Technical Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years sales experience, hardware and business supply sales experience a plus.
- Personally motivated, results oriented individual focused on solutions based sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Excellent phone presence and strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent listening and negotiating skills with a diverse customer base
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Compensation Details:
$63100 - $79000 per year
