Position Duties And Responsibilities
This on-site Business Development position will be primarily charged with supporting Solidify in each of the following areas of BDR responsibility:
1) Prospecting
2) Leading Discovery
3) Nurturing Leads
4) Sales Planning
- Effectively researches companies and develops and prioritizes a list of accounts that are probable ideal clients of Solidifys solutions. This could include identified targets, new prospects discovered through business development, and referrals.
- Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders.
- Asks practical questions to uncover the clients current situation, desired situation, business drivers, application needs, and decision-making processes (via phone, video, or face-to-face meeting) to fully understand what the client needs to recommend the best solution.
- Demonstrates general business insight and understanding of how customers businesses operate, their challenges, and how Solidifys solutions and services impact their business.
- Positioning Solidify as a solution to identified needs and cultivating latent demand.
- Keeps prospects engaged by providing relevant content for their situation, building strong brand loyalty.
- Executes the sales plan and communicates progress against the project this includes being fully prepared for and engaged in 1:1 meetings.
- Understands whats working and whats not and makes necessary adjustments in the sales approach or activity levels to achieve sales team revenue and profitability goals.

Compensation
Solidify offers a competitive compensation program, allowances, and an excellent benefits package.

- Salary + commission up to $150k-$350k

Minimum Qualifications
- Prefer at least 3-5 years s sales experience
- Demonstrated experience working in or selling to Blue Chip companies
- Indicated success in meeting sales goals and growing sales
- Experience selling to purchasing and supply chain functions within organizations
- Contract manufacturing sales experience is a plus
- Some college preferred but are not required
