We have an exciting opportunity for a technical inside salesperson to join our aftermarket sales team at our Orange office. Responsibilities:
The Technical Inside Sales Rep will answer telephone and e-mails related to incoming leads; process RFQs and pass on technical questions to application engineers.
Call outside sales reps who work the project at the client end and support them with quotes, technical and marketing information.
- Forward technical proposals prepared by estimating team to outside sales reps.
- Enter quotes sent out on into company CRM to help regional managers prepare forecast reports.
- Develop product knowledge on valves and gates.
- People-focused: be ready to answer questions and provide support when called on.
- TEAM player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must!
- This will be a great fit for a detail oriented, multi tasker who can stick to deadlines.
Ideal Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a motivation for inside sales and have 3 - 5 years of inside sales experience in a technical environment, preferably in flow control products. Must have excellent interpersonal skills (phone and email) and be computer literate in a high-paced office environment.
Qualifications:
Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office
Bachelors Degree preferred, in a technical discipline or High school diploma or GED with experience.
Experience with CRM systems preferred
Ability to read and understand drawings REQUIRED
A strong understanding of an industrial manufacturing environment
Well-organized with excellent oral and written communication skills
Background in marketing or marketing documentation preparation will be a big plus!
