Job Overview:
Bakker Marine, Inc. is currently seeking a seasonal full-time Store Associate for our Boat Dealership. This position is seasonal as our boating season runs from April through October. If you have a passion for retail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in finding the products they need
• Assist customers with their purchases, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Answer customer inquiries in person or over the phone with excellent phone etiquette
• Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate departments
• Billing/Invoicing
• Filing paperwork
• Stocking inventory
• Perform a variety of clerical duties as needed
• Learn and become proficient with our phone system and computer software

Experience:

• Previous experience in retail is preferred but not required
• Previous experience with boats preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash-handling transactions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Weekends are required.

Must have a valid Driver's License.

Pay will be determined based on job experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
