Full description of the position

We are looking for a business to business marketing consultant for our online and print products. As an account executive and consultant you will secure new clients and ensure that existing clients remain satisfied with our advertising products and services. Our account executives are enthusiastic; self-motivated and organized. You must be passionate about solving local business marketing challenges & increasing new accounts. Your responsibilities include identifying clients' needs and presenting digital / print advertising options to best meet those needs. You should also be able to provide clients with cost estimates of the products or services required.

To be successful, you should demonstrate effective written & verbal communication skills and be able to build rapport with clients. You should be able to work with clients to place their ads and keep them updated on the performance of their ads. Ultimately, an outstanding account executive should achieve excellent customer service and continually meet or exceed sales quotas.

Advertising Sales Representative Responsibilities:

Calling, networking, and knowledge of the demographic information about the media outlets audience.

Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.

Compiling audience data and research and presenting it to clients.

Conducting a business analysis and delivering marketing presentations for decision makers utilizing a broad portfolio of both internet and other products

Setting up meetings with potential clients to present advertising proposals and address their concerns.

Attending sales training and daily team stand-up meetings

Selling advertising products and services by communicating the benefits of various types of advertising.

Providing recommendations on suitable formats, advertising mediums, and font sizes.

Preparing sample advertisements for clients with third-party graphic design service.

Preparing advertisements for sold products with in house graphic design team.

Advertising Sales Representative Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

2 years in advertising, communications, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience working in sales.

Knowledge in Microsoft Office & Google Business Suite applications.

Sound knowledge of marketing principles and techniques.

Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.

Effective communication skills.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to commute to appointments with reliable transportation.
