Key Responsibilities:

• Present oneself as a servant leader in and outside PortCity
• Leverage research and lead generation tools to facilitate prospecting efforts for securing new business that aligns with Port Citys business model
• Build and maintain a consistently robust pipeline, reporting to Port City leadership weekly
• Present customers with innovative supply chain solutions through a consultative sales approach
• Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, while understanding how to align client needs with strategic
• Retain a strong understanding of industry trends and developments with keen ability to identify and effectively communicate new market opportunities
• To become a leader within all departments of PortCity freight management solutions teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant fieldSuccessful experience in the industry
• Minimum 6 years of experience in business development; preferably in dry van, dray, reefer, LTL, grocery, emergency relief, seasonal projects, etc..
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization skills, and entrepreneurial mentality
• Experienced with use of CRMs, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• A self-motivator fully accountable for results with proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business deals
• Strong work ethic with an understanding of, and adherence to, Port Citys mission and core values in all business decisions and interactions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,072.21 - $69,936.42 per year
