Job Summary:
The Manager, Sales Administration provides overall leadership for support of our sales database and maintenance of sales data quality, both direct and indirect, Customer Master Data, Product, Program and Promotional administration and Territory Administration for the Americas Region. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales Operations, the manager is the single point of contact for reseller channel customers (Authorized Distributors, internet resellers, etc.).
This position will provide oversight and support to a team that manages sales information, maintains customer data, and provides reseller account support and contract administration including development, tracking performance and reporting. Serves as a liaison to all functions (Credit, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Sales Support, Distribution, etc.) requiring the attention of the various Authorized Reseller account channel(s).
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
Department Operational Tasks
- Manages a team that supports sales data management, Customer Master Data, product and commercial promotions and program administrative support and Sales Territory Administration.
- Point of contact for reseller channel customer escalations.
- Drives standardization, compliance, and process improvement
- Ensures operational efficiency, accuracy, and quality assurance
- Provide sales administration capability that enhances the performance of our AD & Commercial account resources.
- Organize, prioritize, and service commercial needs of Authorized Distributors, Internet and other Reseller customer types.
- Support Reseller customers to ensure smooth business practices and communication.
- Oversees the maintenance of Products, promotions and programs in the ERP as well as through Authorized Distributors.
- Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of third-party sales data across multiple reporting platforms (Baan, SFDC, ERP, etc.)
- Develop systems, guidelines, and operational direction related to new business processes and programs related to sales data and reseller programs.
- Ensure department personnel have appropriate policies, procedures, and tools to be successful in their roles.
- Manage resources to ensure the department meets world class service levels Responsible for ensuring the department runs business as usual activities and actively participate in the R5 implementation
Travel Requirements :
Occasional domestic travel for both internal and external customer meetings (<5%)Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set
- Must possess and maintain data mining skills using CV reporting tools (SFDC, Oracle or similar) to collect data for analysis, tracking and review
- Strong business acumen skills and skills appropriate for management level communication (oral & written)
- Must be capable of working with both speed and accuracy
- Collaboration and the ability to work effectively with internal/external customers as well as across the entire Sales and Commercial teams are essential. Strong analytical skills, data driven, and a passion for problem solving
Work Environment:
- Normal office environment/setting.
- Sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job. Prolonged sitting in front of a computer
Experience:
5+ years in Sales, Service or Operational support.Education:

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $85,000 and $118,600 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.

This role will support business critical tasks and ongoing business activities (BAU). The role will supervise a team of six (6) and be point of contact for escalations and will collaborate with the Sr. Director, Sales Operations to ensure business critical activities continue while US Regional Oracle integration (known as R5) is deployed into US and Canada.
