SUMMARY:

A Sales Assistant is often a clients primary point of contact with a company. The duties and responsibilities of a Sales Assistant include managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries, resolving any emerging problems, and generating sales leads that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.

The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

DUTIES:

Work closely with Sales Manager to meet sales targets.

Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls.

Identify and assess customers needs to achieve satisfaction.

Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.

Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.

Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools.

Communicate with clients and other departments.

Ensure the monthly / weekly production schedule and product inventories.

Process Sales Order.

Prepare and file invoices and shipping documents.

Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.

Take the extra mile to engage customers -i.e., actively involved in the receiving and shipping samples and documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accuracy and timeliness manner.
• Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt / respond to different types of characters.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Basic knowledge of current accounting systems -Dynamic GP.

Interpersonal relationship skills to work together with other department managers.

Proficiency in English and Japanese

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
