We are a small family owned e-commerce business. We are in the marine industry and focus on marine electronics. Our representatives help customers with product questions, technical support, placing orders and product support. Knowledge of the Boating industry and marine electronics is required.

Responsibilities:

• This position will receive inbound phone calls and emails from customers and dealers seeking assistance with marine products
• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to marine electronics products
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, leveraging knowledge of NMEA 2000 and ABYC standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
• Employee will also be responsible for placing inbound orders and general customer service calls
• Answer e-mail/website inquiries/LiveChat tickets and messages from customers
• Driven & Passionate Shows passion for improving the delivery of services with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Answer incoming support/customer service/sales calls
• Convey product knowledge to dealers and consumers, along with any changes
• Working Hours: Hours will be from 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support, preferably in the marine electronics industry.
• The ideal candidate will have an understanding of NMEA 2000 and ABYC standards and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support
• High school degree required, college preferred
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Critical Thinking-Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Computer Skills: Basic Personal computer skills including electronic mail, work processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc
• Positive attitude to problem solving

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
