Job Details:

• Employment opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative servicing the Queensbury region of NY working out of the Queensbury, NY branch. This job opportunity is for the Midway Industrial Supply division.

Responsibility:

• Develop and maintain relationships with current Midway customers from an established account list and territory
• Identify and establish contact with potential customers
• Schedule and perform product demonstrations with current and prospective customers
• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
• Communicate with sales management on performance and ideas for growth
• Submit regular status reports and sales review information to management
• Work with the Inside Sales team to develop and maintain customer relationships
• Provide a high level of service to all Midway customers
• Attend company sponsored trainings to learn applications for all products
• Travel throughout the assigned region visiting customers
• Work with vendor representatives to educate customers and meet their demands

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent phone, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills (including using the ERP and all Microsoft Office products)
• Ability to problem solve and react effectively to challenges
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn new things

Additional Details:

• Past outside sales experience is preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate
• Pay will be based on experience and will increase through a commission program with any potential increase in sales. Customer conversion would also increase salary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
