Apply online at [please apply online] FUNCTION:
To assist the Superintendent in the task of providing leadership and direction in the areas of school district financial planning and budgeting, purchasing, facilities and property management,transportation, maintenance, nutrition service, and other operational functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of three (3) years of successful related experience (five (5) years preferred) in public or private school and/or governmental finance/accounting rules, regulations and ethics.
Experience in school finance preferred.
Preferred candidates will have a Masters degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advises the Superintendent and Board on all matters pertaining to school finance and support operations to include levies, investments, forecasts, construction, etc.
Plans and prepares the annual operation budget.
Implements the approved yearly budget and oversees the annual external audit.
Supervises the preparation of monthly financial statements and accounts payable vouchers,financial records and accounts, business and property records and payroll.
Supervises Child Nutrition.
Other assigned duties designated by the Superintendent

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all district constituents; including staff, students, parents and patrons.
Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, present and articulate financial data and pertinent information in a way that creates credibility with all constituents of a public K-12 institution.
Demonstrated ability to effectively serve on an administrative team.
Demonstrated ability to effectively serve on and/or lead committees in a collaborative manner.
Demonstrated ability to advise the Superintendent and Board on all matters pertaining to school finance and support operations of the District to include budget, levies, investments, forecasts, construction, etc.
Demonstrated ability to supervise support services staff to include the finance department, maintenance, transportation, nutrition services, etc. in a supportive yet challenging manner.

Salary: $95,000.00 min/DOE
