We seek a full-time or part-time professional retail sales associate. The hours of this role could be made flexible for someone seeking heavy-part time employment or part-time, post-retirement employment. Part-time consideration is based on applicants job history, related skills, abilities and availability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to all shoppers
• Assist customers in finding and selecting products
• Sell premium recreation and fitness related products
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Meet or exceed sales goals
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Conduct daily inventory counts
• Handle store opening and closing responsibilities

Skills:

• Previous experience in specialty retail sales a plus
• Strong sales skills and the ability to close deals
• Knowledge of retail sales principles and techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling
• Inventory management skills
• Multilingual abilities are a bonus, but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 40 per week
