Catering Sales & Services Manager

The CSM is responsible for detailing & overseeing in-house group bookings of 50 people or less and groups booked within 45-days of arrival as well as selling & detailing stand-alone catering (100 or less). The CSM will provide support to Catering Director and Wedding Sales Manager for banquet events.

Banquet Event Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for detailing (creating BEOs) for in-house group bookings of 50 people or less and groups booked within 45-days of arrival, creatively implementing event set-ups, menus & programs
• Responsible for selling & detailing stand-alone meetings or catering events (100 people or less not including Wedding or Wedding related events)
• Coordinate all In-House meetings & distribute BEOs for in-house events
• Responsible for creating & distributing BEOs, Group Resumes, Welcome letters for VIPs and other documents to effectively communicate group needs
• Acts as On-Site Contact for groups
• Shipping/Receiving/Holding Group deliveries
• Remain informed of all in-house and upcoming groups with intent to step in if Catering Director is off property
• Assist Catering Director with administrative tasks for in-house groups such as: Food Signs, Menus, Drink Tickets, Breakfast Vouchers, Door Signs, etc.
• Attention to detail for all aspects of event, service & customer satisfaction
• Assist in placing & managing needed rentals and audio visual equipment for groups
• Upsell customers in all possible areas
• Lead site visits as needed to support Wedding Sales Manager or Group Managers as necessary
• Provide Catering Director/Wedding Sales Manager with day-of event support including overseeing set-up, checking in with banquet staff upon arrival, acting as on-site contact for various wedding vendors, creating food signs, and ensuring food and service are executed to the clients satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
