Dimerco Express is looking for a Sales Executive to join our diverse team of sales professionals in the Los Angeles area / or Orange County area.

We are also hiring for a Sales Manager [AIR Freight].

Responsibilities

• Follow up and communicate with overseas offices and agents for new customer development.
• Adhere to company credit management policy and contract management rules to select qualified customers and take responsibility of the AR collection.
• Utilize company's proprietary system to create customer profile, quotations, and credit applications (training will be provided).
• Support Customer Service department with RFI/RFQ preparation.
• The following Sales activities are required: Min. 25 cold calls per week, Min. 15 sales visits per week, Min. 8 new accounts per week to be visited, Min. 5 sales leads per week to be generated, Min. 3 new accounts per month to be secured.

Commute Commitment

• Must be willing to meet with branch manager for sales meeting once a week at the LAX office located in El Segundo, CA
• 1-month initial training must be done on-site in El Segundo office

Skills

• Key candidates will be performance driven, self-starters, with a high interest in freight forwarding and international logistics.
• Experience in B to B Service Sales, or Customer Service in the International Logistics field is preferred
• College degree is a plus, but not required
• Local and familiar with the Los Angeles Territory
• Team player / problem solver, resourceful in creating solutions for customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
