Store Associate (part-time)
This is for a part time sales associate at the Winter Garden Store. Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.

Looking for an outgoing person with a positive attitude to join our team! Great opportunity for the right person to advance. Pool chemistry knowledge preferred. However, we will train the right person.

As a member of our store team, you would be responsible for greeting customers and assisting them in locating what they need, testing their pool water and helping them locate the chemicals needed, filling up chlorine containers, and maintaining the appearance of the store.

After successful completion of in-store training, this position has the opportunity to work in field if the candidate has a clean driving record for the past 5 years

The rate of pay is based on the amount of retail and pool industry experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Greet / Assist customers upon entering store.
• Perform water balance testing, accurately, for customers.
• Answer phones.
• Carry customer purchases to the car.
• Ensure store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, keep displays & counter area clean.
• Report all stock / supply shortages.
• Perform in store equipment repairs.
• Maintain store inventory. Stocker /Jugger responsibilities as needed
• Any other duties, as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Position requires constant walking, bending, and lifting. Ability to answer phones/perform functions on a computer necessary when interacting with customers and or the corporate office. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Be personable
• Quick Learner
• Reliable source of transportation to and from work.

We are offering 13.00 to $15.00 per hour depending on the experience in this field.
