Full description of the position

This position will greet customers entering our store and assist them in their flooring needs. Flooring product knowledge is a must, so you can help the customer find the right product for their lifestyle. We have a great selection of: carpet, pad, engineered wood, laminate, LVT, LVP, vinyl and ceramic.

The ideal candidate loves working with people, is organized, detail oriented, great communication skills, can work independently and in a team environment, and has knowledge of home decorating.

Responsibilities include:

- Greet customers entering store & how you can assist them.

- Enter sales quotes into our system and email them to customers.

- Follow-up on quotes and assist customer with any questions or concerns.

- Complete accurate paperwork to allow installers to deliver on expectations.

- Assist with answering phones, scheduling appointments & responding to emails.

- Showroom maintenance. Such as keeping sample boards updated, priced & organized.

- Continue to educate self on new flooring and flooring design.

This position could be part-time or full-time. The store is currently open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm M-F, but would like to expand the hours until 7 pm a couple of nights during the week and add Saturday hours.

Benefits are offered once full-time hours are attained.
