Full description of the position

The inventory and logistics associate is responsible for receiving, unpacking and preparing merchandise for the selling floor and for the organization, maintenance and cleanliness of the stock room. While previous experience in retail is preferred, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage your time effectively will contribute to your success in this role.

Duties

• Inbound receiving of product, and outbound shipping of customer orders, and returns.
• Matching product receipts with vendor invoices and communicating discrepancies with internal/external stakeholders
• Sensors, steams, folds and hangs merchandise as needed
• Brings merchandise from the stock room to the selling floor
• Ensures stock room is organized, clean and merchandise is floor ready at all times
• Actively performs housekeeping and maintenance duties
• Participate in routine inventory
• Scheduled shifts may require standing for a minimum of eight hours
• The hours and schedule for this position will vary by week depending on business needs.
• Flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to work weekends are required.
• This role may require you to be flexible to occasionally performing work/duties in a department other than the one you were hired into.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 50 per week
