Full description of the position

Stahl & Associates Insurance, a Higginbotham Partner, is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Oldsmar, FL.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated insurance professional who can provide superior service to our private clients, while enjoying a team-oriented culture and excellent work/life balance. Join our team and be part of our story! This individual will quote new and renewal business using in-house and online rating software and evaluate risk exposures to determine proper placement of personal accounts. This person will also consult with clients on the best coverage options and answer any policy and coverage-related questions. In addition, this individual will process incoming policies, endorsements and renewal offers and upload and attach documents and correspondence into the Agency Management System, as well as document all conversations and correspondence with customers, carriers, and underwriters, as it pertains to policies and coverage. Other general administrative tasks may be added to meet business needs.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to build client relationships
  • Working knowledge of personal lines of coverage, including Auto, Homeowners, Umbrella, Watercraft, Flood, Wind, and Excess & Surplus Lines
  • High level of integrity
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle problem situations in a professional manner
  • Self-started who can work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years independent agency experience preferred
  • Agency management system experience required; AMS 360 experience preferred
  • Experience with in-house and online rating software
  • Must have a current FL 2-20 P&C license or 20-44 Resident Personal Lines license
  • Professional designations are highly desired, but not required
