Our agency is located in Alhambra, CA, and were seeking a professional individual to help us achieve our goals. The Samson Ng Insurance Agency is a highly respected Agency within the Farmers Insurance Group, and seeks individuals that will help to maintain our reputation.

This is a licensed role and obtaining/maintaining a Property & Casualty (P&C) License is a requirement for this role.

There is a base hourly rate with an opportunity to make additional income based on sales production (commission).

Responsibilities:

• Sell insurance products to current clients, referrals and professional network through inbound and outbound calls, & through other forms of communication (email, text, etc.)
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships, while educating customers regarding coverages and cost so that the customer can select the most appropriate option
• Qualify customers as buyers of other products/services to create cross-sell and upselling opportunities

Qualifications

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual Prefer Mandarin and/or Cantonese
• Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience required (including retail, hospitality, and restaurant experience)
• Direct sales skills, and the aptitude to influence customers and close the sale
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to adapt communication style to each phone call, and explain complex policy and coverage information in understandable terms
• Strong PC and software skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
