Position Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing all active loans and leads. This position will manage NOI, total revenue, and origination quality. The Sales Manager is expected to identify partnership opportunities and to develop business relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Meet established Branch production standards.
  • Manage loan files from application through closing, pull & analyze pipeline reports, and review any problem files within the pipeline.
  • Schedule realtor appointments for the assigned Loan Originators.
  • Review documentation received within 24 hours of receipt for discrepancies, omissions, verified income calculation, asset verification and Encompass updates based on verified information, and immediately notify Loan Originators when any discrepancies are found on documentation.
  • Ensure files are complete and setup in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Attend all branch/team meetings.
  • Ensure loan contingency and closing dates are met.
  • Manage all incoming lead conversion metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years retail mortgage sales expereince.
  • Understanding of FHA, VA and conventional loan guidelines.
  • Knowledge and thorough understanding of applicable local, federal, state and agency regulations and guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of RESPA and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations and loan documents.
  • Excellent sales, marketing, customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent team building, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, prioritization, and managerial skills.
  • Proficient in income and all agency guidelines.
  • Ability to collaborative with peers, subject matter experts, and all levels of management across the organization.
