Job Title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
At Central Roofing, we pride ourselves on over thirty years of providing quality roofing solutions to our customers throughout Texas. We are seeking a Business Development Manager who is ready to lead our growth in commercial and industrial reroofing opportunities.
Must have construction knowledge/experience.
Experience with roofing is preferred.
Your Profile:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
- Connected with commercial and residential property managers, asset managers, facility managers, and other commercial property owners/managers.
- Experience getting past gate-keepers to the decision maker(s).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledgeable about a wide variety of roofing materials and systems.
- Ability to thrive in a commission-based environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools.
- Competitive, positive, self-motivated, and results-driven attitude.
- Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at mid/senior and C-levels.
- Working experience with social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
- A driven, disciplined, and organized sales leader.
- Must be able to carry and climb a ladder, walk on various roof types and be able to endure exposure to extreme hot and/or cold weather temperatures.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive sales and business development efforts to meet and exceed personal and company targets.
- Manage and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to set and meet sales goals.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Perform site evaluations, Create quality takeoffs of existing roofs and provide useful photos for the Estimating Department to bid.
- Work independently in the field while collaborating with other departments throughout the sales and construction process.
- Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activity.
- Meet with decision makers and close business.
- Establish and manage a referral system for repeat business.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality standards.
