Full description of the position

The sales associate will report to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for generating leads, lead management, sales presentations, closing sales, and for meeting monthly sales expectations. The sales associate will work in close collaboration with other sales staff as a key member of a motivated sales team.

Essential Functions

• Maintain and/or improve upon the occupancy level and revenue production of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans to include completing sales calls and closing sales.
• Achieve individual sales goals and targets (callouts, appointments, sales, closings, etc.)
• Develop and maintain relationships with and generates leads through residents, family, and professional referral sources.
• Ensure that each prospect receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every prospect, maintaining solid product knowledge, and all other aspects of customer service.
• Work with other sales team members and community management to plan, coordinate, and implement monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events.
• Work in collaboration with other sales team members in developing and executing marketing plans to achieve community occupancy goals.
• Maintain prospect interest and commitments through continuous follow-up.
• Follow organizational procedures in lead tracking and maintain current records of all leads and prospects as required by the organization.
• Demonstrate an expertise and knowledge of current best practices in successful retirement housing sales and marketing techniques.
• Professionally represent the organization at public and community functions and foster a positive image of the community.
• Exhibit positivity and serve as a leader who supports and carries out the spirit of the service culture in every interaction both internally and externally.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience

• High School diploma or the equivalent. A minimum of one (3) years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience. Senior living sales experience preferred, especially sales experience in a continuing care retirement community
• Proven history of achieving and exceeding required sales goals.

Requirements

• Must successfully pass the mandated criminal background checks.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass the pre-employment reference checks.
• Must be able to provide official grade transcripts of the education level provided on the employment application.
• Must be able to provide a copy of his/her own social security card for W-4 documentation.
• Must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 in order to establish identity and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid drivers license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $37,440.00 per year
