Charm City Appliances is currently seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team.

This pivotal role is integral to the success of Charm City Appliances, involving extensive interaction with potential customers, including individuals and property managers, as well as collaboration with fellow team members. The primary objective of this position is to deliver exceptional customer service while driving sales. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, possess strong interpersonal skills, and exhibit proficiency in both customer service and computer operations.

Responsibilities:

• Sell appliances by emphasizing customer service excellence and product knowledge.
• Maintain a consistent presence on the sales floor to ensure timely assistance for customers.
• Ensure clear pricing and labeling of items.
• Stay updated on all appliance inventory and features.
• Assist customers in selecting the most suitable appliances for their requirements.
• Inspect appliances to verify readiness for sale.
• Organize inventory on the sales floor to optimize efficiency and presentation.
• Determine sales prices and generate sales tickets.
• Supervise items on the delivery dock.
• Prioritize repairs for technicians.
• Execute daily store closing procedures.
• Report directly to the CEO.

Additional Information and Requirements:

• Non-commission-based sales position.
• Comprehensive training will be provided.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operations is essential.
• Dependability is a must.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.

Job Duties:

• Set product pricing in accordance with company guidelines.
• Adhere to established sales protocols.
• Follow up with leads through various channels.
• Respond to emails and phone inquiries promptly.
• Conduct in-person sales transactions.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of appliances and store appearance.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Full availability during operational hours is required.
