Our Ashley Retail Sales Associates transform store guests into loyal customers. When guests enter the store, youre the person who guides them. As the expert on home furnishings, you create inspiration, enthusiasm, and excitement about Ashleys products. You help our guests discover the styles that reflect their lives and help them design rooms they will love to live in.

Compensation:

• 60-day training hourly rate upon hire = $20.00 to $20.00.
• Following the training period, this position pays an hourly rate of $16.78 - $16.78
• This position is eligible to earn weekly, and monthly incentives based upon sales.
• Incentive amounts range from 2% to 15% and differ based on product types.

Retail Sales Associates receive Commission Pay on Top of Base Pay!

There is NO CAP on commission; at Ashley we have sales reps that make yearly income between 35k-75k a year ( Based + Commission ) *** based on individual performance***

Primary Job Functions

To be a successful Retail Sales Associate at Ashley, you must be someone who:

• Provide outstanding service experience for every customer and guest. Maintain a welcoming, professional, visible presence at the front desk; engage with guests, ensuring they are always treated in a cordial, respectful manner in a way that represents the Company brand image.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently. Follow cash handling procedures. Assist customers with the credit application process and financing arrangements as needed. Maintain sales transaction documentation.
• Resolve customer issues with minimal supervision.
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including cash balancing and daily checklists.
• Assist with inventory and loss prevention processes. Participate in the bi-annual inventory process.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and Holidays
• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of customer service and sales experience
• Ability to lift over 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to transport loads of 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Maintain reliable attendance
• Thrive in a team environment.
