The Role

The role of Senior Sales Executive requires a dynamic individual who is not only passionate about sales but also possesses an in-depth understanding of audio industry workflows and a strong network of contacts, including post supervisors, executive producers (EPs), and directors within the television and theatrical markets. The Senior Sales Executive specializes in sound services for television and theatrical post-production for our award-winning, internationally recognized, sound studio. The Senior Sales Executive leads sales for all three sound studios, Margarita Mix Hollywood, Margarita Mix Santa Monica, and Margarita Mix L.A. Studios.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and strategically target high-value clients within the audio post-production market focusing on voice records, general dialogue recordings (all categories), sound design, sound editorial, sound mixing, ADR, and animation.
• Leverage industry knowledge to capitalize on emerging business opportunities.
• Establish and fortify relationships with key decision-makers, including post supervisors, EPs, directors, casting directors.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and our audio team, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional client service.
• Open new client accounts with the support of our accounting team.
• Track projects while building an awareness of the operational flow in all three facilities..
• Meet and exceed company provided targets as they relate to annual revenue goals.

• Clearly and effectively communicate the unique value of our sound services, addressing client concerns with personalized solutions.
• Implement sophisticated follow-up strategies to convert potential leads into enduring client partnerships.
• Apply seasoned negotiation skills to orchestrate deal closures that are mutually advantageous.
• Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure client expectations are not only met but exceeded.
• The Senior Sales Executive plays a leadership role in sales meetings, contributing to the overall success and growth of the sales team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of distinguished sales experience in the audio, television, reality TV, and gaming industry.
• Demonstrated passion for sales with a personable and approachable demeanor.
• Exceptional active listening, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Comprehensive and nuanced understanding of audio industry workflows.
• Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and adept at working independently.
• Optimistic and trustworthy, with the ability to navigate challenges.
• Existing robust network and personal relationships with influential figures, including post supervisors, EPs, and directors within the audio markets.

Work Environment & Physical Activities

• Recording studio and office setting.
• May lift up to 10 lbs.
• Must also have the physical ability to talk, listen, and walk.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the expected compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $125k-200k annually with potential incentives.
