Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and assisting with sales. Duties:
- Operate the cash register and POS system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering questions and assisting with product selection
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy in counting money and giving correct change
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking merchandise and monitoring stock levels
- Promote sales by highlighting special offers or promotions to customers
- Assist customers with jewelry sales, providing product information and recommendations as needed
- Answer phone calls in a polite and professional manner, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member
- Utilize excellent phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries or complaints effectively

Skills:
- Strong cash handling skills with experience operating a cash register
- Proficient in using POS systems for processing transactions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their needs
- Knowledge of jewelry sales is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Multilingual skills are preferred (if applicable)
- Technical sales experience is a plus
