The following challenges await you:
Base knowledge
- Collaborate with key ETS co-workers to translate the sales strategy and tactics into an effective continuous sales training program.
- Continuous maintain knowledge of the market, competition, etc
- Become an expert in ETS skin substitute products over a relatively short period of time.
- Write, review, edit, and deliver sales training modules for internal employees and 1099s consistent with adult learning principles.
- Develop and refine evolving training curriculum based upon new or enhanced product/technology, change in the market and subsequently edit the training content to be consistent with the most current data and competitive information.
- Part of the training will be translated on the ETS LMS system, SuccessFactors.
- Keep the sales team and other stakeholders informed about the wound care industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Familiarize the sales team with relevant medical terminology, anatomy, and the physiology of wound healing.
- Create and perform sales training onboarding and validation programs for all new field-based personnel and at times, other stakeholders that includes product education, scripts, messaging, repetitive role-playing activities and positioning statements.
- Teach sales representatives how to deliver compelling presentations (prepared by the trainer) to healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, Value Analysis Committees, emphasizing specific value propositions, unique selling points, etc of ETSs wound care and surgical products.
- Ensure training covers topics such as clinical studies, publications, product knowledge, and other pertinent skills applicable in both field and corporate settings.
- Validate effectiveness of the sales techniques, communication skills, and strategies to engage healthcare professionals and potential customers.
- Ensure performance and training objectives and requirements are met.
Compliance:
- Ensure the sales team retains all guidance on regulatory requirements and compliance within the healthcare industry. 100% compliance and interacting with integrity is never negotiable.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor Level of Degree in, Education, Sales or Marketing or related field of study. Advance degree preferred.
- 7 years of demonstrated experience in clinical or sales training.
- 5 years experience working in the medical device industry with a minimum of 2 years of field sales training experience in the medical device industry preferred.
- Accreditation in Training Certifications preferred, experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Experience in a medical device start up launching new medical device technology while building a new sale on boarding and continuous education training program.
- Experience in wound care required; with skin substitutes preferred.
