We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the properties, maintaining tenant satisfaction, and upholding compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualified candidates will have demonstrated the following skills and experience:
- Building positive relationships with prospective and current tenants
- Overseeing the timely and successful completion of maintenance requests
- Showing properties to prospective tenants and answering relevant questions
- Preparing and executing detailed and legally compliant lease agreements
- Overseeing all financial procedures including verifying renter income, processing monthly payments and executing default protocols
- Handling and updating renter's insurance with current and incoming residents.
- Processing lease renewals, move outs, and other leasing focused duties.
- Scheduling service contractors and on site maintenance
- All financial aspects of the property including, but not limited to budgeting and market surveys to determine market rent.
- Creating organizational systems to support accurate record keeping, efficient financial transactions and prompt renter complaint resolution
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to property standards
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness
- Market available units, conduct tours, and screen potential tenants
- Prepare lease agreements and enforce lease terms
- Address tenant concerns and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and tenant interactions
- Stay updated on market trends and competition to optimize rental rates and occupancy levels
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws
- Perform data entry tasks to update property management software
Property Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience in residential property management
- Strong work ethic and a self-starting personality
Under the guidance of the Regional Property Manager, you will be a key part in helping the property succeed and providing a positive experience for your residents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
