Receptionist/Sales Associate

Classic Rock Marble and Granite is a medium sized shop located in Beverly Ma.

Applicants local to the area and with immediate availability preferred. (Salem, Danvers, Beverly, etc)

We are seeking two motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Receptionist/Sales Associates. This role will primarily involve managing front desk operations while also assisting customers in selecting the perfect natural stones for their projects. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Answering phones, greeting customers, preparing estimates/invoices, sales calls and more. Previous administrative experience in stone sales is a plus. Must have prior experience in an office setting. Excellent customer service, superior attention to detail and strong MS Office and QuickBook computer skills are required.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.

- Provide information about our products, services, and pricing to customers.

- Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment.

- Assist customers with selecting natural stones based on their specific requirements and preferences.

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.

- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

- Knowledge of natural stones or a willingness to learn about our products.

- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

-High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred but not required. -Working knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is preferred but not required. -Knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign) and Ability to read Construction plans are a plus.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with a high level of professionalism to clients, co-workers, vendors, customers, and other employees.

-Ability to write clear concise reports and correspondence.
