DCN Dx is seeking an Account Manager to support the growth strategy for Diagnostic CDMO services in our chosen markets. The Account Manager is responsible for establishing and executing business plans and sales strategies to develop existing account sales and identify new customer opportunities. They have customer segment and/or industry knowledge, can cross-functionally collaborate and understand the importance of personalization and value-creation.
Who You Are:
Account Managers are responsible for achieving sales goals through a highly consultative sales process. They identify customer needs and develop solutions to grow DCN Dxs share within the account/market by listening to learn. They not only identify new opportunities to partner and collaborate but can also help resolve customer issues. They can maintain a pipeline of short and long-term growth opportunities and can collaborate and coordinate effectively with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is results oriented and has strong selling skills including experience in utilizing a technology stack to accelerate the sales process. An agile, highly collaborative, and early adopter mindset is preferred for DCN Dxs fast growing environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Consistently achieves assigned sales goals through closing new accounts and growing existing customers.
- Effective execution of the defined sales strategy including managing the end-to-end sales process including qualifying inbound and outbound leads and use of a technology stack.
- Efficiently manages through account planning and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Maintains a level of technical and application competence and utilizes this knowledge in a manner which will enable them to add value and promote customer improvement.
- Submission of accurate quarterly forecasts and forecast updates as requested on a timely basis.
- Maintain effective and professional communication with customers both external and internal.
- Manage effective pricing strategies to include, but not limited to: Proposals, Supply agreements, and Contracts.
- Office-based sales position, but able to travel on occasion to customer sites, for conferences and meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in sciences or in business.
- Demonstrated experience in meeting/exceeding sales targets with a minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in Diagnostics or Life Sciences.
- Demonstrated ability with various sales tools and technology, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office software, CRM such as HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other social platforms.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization inspiring teamwork to achieve results.
- Sales competency which includes selling skills such as relationship building, call planning, follow-up and closing skills.
- Technical competency demonstrated in diagnostics and/or immunoassay and/or point-of-use diagnostics.
- Demonstration of good presentation skills.
- Good time management skills.
