Job Summary:
This is a full-time remote role for a CSI Regional Sales Construction, Sports, Industrials. The role involves day-to-day sales activities, including communicating with customers, providing excellent customer service, conducting sales training, and managing sales. As a Regional Sales representative, you will be responsible for developing and growing Superior Silica Sands CSI sales volumes and profitability.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Achieve assigned business plan goals and objectives in each of the specified sales channels.
- Travel to meet business demands: 75% to 90% of each week (travel will include all of San Antonio areas including 100 miles radius from San Antonio including Austin, TX).
- Recording and tracking of all individual sales activity on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis within the High Rise CRM system and providing detailed notes and information on all prospective clients and relationships.
- Management updates of client information in the High Rise CRM system.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships between key customers and its key personnel.
- Serve as primary representative in assigned sales channels of Superior Silica Sands to specified customers responding promptly to requests for assistance and information for all SSS products.
- Take appropriate actions to retain long term accounts.
- Create and develop new sales opportunities that will successfully lead to customer purchases.
- Cold call business prospects.
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales.
- Engage appropriate internal/external resources to ensure appropriate cultivation, closure, and follow-up of sales transactions.
- Gather market intelligence related to trends, local sand usage, and other initiatives based on Marketing / Business / Product Development goals.
- Knowledgeable of social media and app-based sales tools.
- Leads the Culture that is aligned with the Companys core values (Team, Commitment, and Integrity).
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
- 10+ years experience in selling in related industry with account management experience.
- Bachelors degree in business or marketing or equivalent years of experience.
- Established client list that can be accessed for new business generation opportunities.
- Self-Motivated, Relationship Builder
- Able to work through managers and cross-functional team members to achieve results. Able to create relevant and engaging customer proposals that are of value to both the Company and the customer, specifically related to profitability.
- Strong negotiation skills and closing skills; able to bring sales to a close in a timely manner.
- Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs.
- Thorough knowledge of the key drivers of purchase decision among customers.
