Specialty Sales Representative Summary:

We are looking to bring on full time employees for our Retail/Front Counter and Gun Counter sales staff. We are a specialty retail store that primarily supplies to law enforcement officers and law enforcement agencies. We feel here at GT Distributors, Inc. we go beyond what someone would do at a regular retail job. Our staff builds relationships with customers, finds out their needs, makes productive suggestions that will help them, etc. If we dont have an item a customer needs, we make the effort to look it up and special order it. We are open Monday through Saturday and working every Saturday is a required shift.

Specialty Sales Representative Responsibilities:

The position will be a retail sales position, duties include (but are not limited to) assisting our customers on the sales floor, putting away new merchandise, organizing and maintaining our sales floor, tidying/cleaning as needed, working a cash register, completing projects assigned by management, etc.

Specialty Sales Representative Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• Comfortable around firearms and police officers
• Comfortable with computers
• Must be available to work every Saturday
• Critical/outside the box thinking

Customer service/retail sales experience is strongly preferred, law enforcement experience and gun sales experience is not required. General firearm knowledge is a plus. Candidates must be computer savvy. The system we use is a bit complex and someone who is comfortable with computers can learn the system a lot easier. Also, they must be able to stand and be on their feet all day minus their breaks.

General worked hours on Saturday are from 8:30 Close (usually around 4:45), and during week days will fall sometime between 8:30-Closing (approximately 6:30) depending on store needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
