Pacific Historic Parks is the leading organization supporting significant historical sites in the Pacific for future generations. Through education, interpretive programs, research, preservation, and restoration, we work to perpetuate the memory of events and honor the people involved in these Pacific historic locations.

Working at the USS Arizona Memorial really gives you the opportunity to be a part of preserving a major piece of history. Nearly 2 million people from nearly every continent visit the USS Arizona Memorial each year, and we are looking for the most enthusiastic and energetic people to assist them at our museum shop.

These positions are all day shift positions that work on a rotating schedule.

What We Need You To Do!

• Greet visitors in a welcoming manner
• Familiarity with WWII History helpful
• Accurately process guest purchases using cash, debit and credit cards
• Cross sell Pacific Historic Park memberships to customers
• Encourage guests to make donations to the park
• Keep store merchandised stocked and attractive at all times
• Occasionally assist with inventory and other special events that may be held outside of traditional work location and times
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions

• Standing for long periods of time
• working indoors or outdoors
• changing weather conditions
• Outside kiosk (exposed to the changing weather conditions)

What we Need You to Know How To Do!

• At least one year of retail, cashier or customer service experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to work in a professional manner with a highly diverse group
• Bi-lingual ability a plus!
