Demarco Group is seeking a Sr Level Property & Casualty Acct Manager or Acct Executive for a Broker located in Calabasas, hybrid remote ok.

Seeking a Large Account Professional, with significant experience servicing accounts in the 50-250K revenue. Candidate should have 10+ years experience in commercial lines.

Seeking an SR Account Manager or AE candidate that knows how to Market, Service, Place Business, and to Process the clients requests and needs. Approximately 5 years commercial lines experience working on a myriad of accounts. LICENSED P&C.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF AN SR ACCOUNT MANAGER REQUIRED BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Strong working knowledge of commercial property/casualty coverages and services. Ability to market and service the insurance needs of commercial accounts. Understanding of commercial rating concepts. Proven ability to organize and manage time in order to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and execute oral and written instruction. Professional and tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
• General understanding of Applied, Ability to communicate professionally with clients and develop strong client relationships. Working knowledge of spreadsheet applications and formula calculations.
• Understanding of general insurance accounting, including client invoicing. Demonstrated professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives. Willingness to delegate as appropriate. Demonstrated understanding of when to proceed alone and when to involve the Unit Manager, Producer or others. Willingness and ability to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the commercial insurance industry by successful completion of extended classes and workshops related to insurance. Participates in the new business marketing process as directed by Unit Manager. Has ultimate responsibility for checking the work processed by Project Coordinator or others as directed by Unit Manager. Makes arrangements for client premium financing.

• EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a business related field, or equivalent experience in the industry
• At least four to six years experience in the insurance industry
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications
• High aptitude for mathematical calculations including the ability to calculate and interpret formula methodologies
• Expanded insurance industry knowledge through experience and/or course work
• Ability to manage ongoing working relationships with clients
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Firm, fluent grasp of English language with above average verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
