Touchdown Business Solutions is actively hiring for a business development coordinator to join our growing team! We are a locally owned and operated employment agency seeking a strong sales driven and results motivated individual. Responsibility
This position is responsible for the sourcing and developing of new client accounts. They are also responsible for promoting and selling Touchdown Business Solutions staffing and recruitment services via direct contact with potential clients at their place of business
Sales Functions:
- Aggressively seeks out new business through cold-calling, networking, and following up on referrals; calling and emailing potential clients to set up face-to-face appointments.
- Maintains prospective leads system and updates as additional information is obtained.
- Properly qualifies prospects/clients.
- Tracks KPIs from sales efforts.
- Completes and submits proposals accurately and timely for review.
- Participates in company meetings and provides business development updates.
- Responds in a timely manner to inquiries from prospective clients.
- Supports the marketing efforts of the company.
- Conducts a needs analysis of prospects.
- Takes initiative by leading client assessment.
- Develops and cultivates network relationships with local businesses, professional, and economic development groups.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of sales experience in a competitive sales environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficient customer service, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to represent the organization in a professional manner.
- Satisfactory results of background check, drug test, and driving record.
Qualifications
- Excellent technological, organizational, and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Able to work independently. Demonstrates ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills. Excellent working knowledge of Word and Excel software.
- Strong work ethic. Demonstrates professional work characteristics, initiative, dependability, and credibility.
Leadership
- Model proper, respectful and courteous communications.
- Provide professional reception skills and positive, willing to help attitude to all associates and guests.
- Support Internal operations and external business development using the following core human resources critical functions;
Service
- Assist in hiring process as requested
- Review documentation for accuracy and completion.
- Assist with training, and record keeping as needed.
- Support the efforts to provide a clean and healthy workplace.
- Other duties assigned by leadership.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
