Position Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Consultant, where youll be at the forefront of our growth strategy. As an integral part of our sales force, youll unearth exciting opportunities, forge valuable connections, and close deals with organizations seeking PEO services in the thriving small to mid-size market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unleash your hunter instincts and seek out prospects through networking, referrals, cold calling, direct selling, and partnership building.
- Embrace a consultative selling approach, becoming a trusted advisor who understands prospects needs and sparks genuine interest in our solutions.
- Collaborate with key decision-makers, helping them streamline HR administration, mitigate risks, and consolidate vendors.
- Flex your creative muscles by crafting compelling proposals and financial analyses, securing approvals, and delivering winning presentations.
- Nurture a dynamic pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of prospects at various sales process stages.
- Achieve greatness by meeting and exceeding sales metrics and hitting quarterly and yearly goals.
- Set the gold standard for customer service, exemplifying Tandems core values in every interaction.
- Keep your finger on the pulse with meticulous activity tracking in the sales CRM and maintaining an accurate pipeline report.
- Embark on exciting adventures as you travel to prospective locations at least once a week.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities qualifies. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and skills would be:
- A Bachelors degree required
- 3-5 years of stellar work experience in consultative sales with a track record of Presidents Clubs, awards, and achievements.
- Background in PEO, SAAS, HRIS, or Payroll, signifying your expertise in the industry.
- A passion for developing leads and prospects makes you a natural fit for this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM (Salesforce preferred).
