Inside Sales Representative - REMOTE

Position Summary:
Performs daily outbound and inbound sales calls via phone to retailers and practitioners within assigned territory in order to meet and/or exceed monthly sales goals. Responsible for understanding and presenting strategic retail programs and sales promotions. Required to consultatively sell products and obtain optimum shelf space/product placement through concepts such as category management and brand block sets while delivering superb customer service that creates overall satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and service to retailers and practitioners via telephone.
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly sales goals by communicating promotions, new product launches, and features and benefits of products as well as production penetration expectations.
  • Coordinate phone trainings with retailers to educate on GOL product line.
  • Make 20-40 Outbound calls per day.
  • Provide all customer service duties for assigned territory including, order entry, product returns, credit requests, marketing requests and product related questions.
  • Maintain updated customer lists, escalate MAP violations and other unauthorized activity; Track and report on daily calls and performance.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and ongoing training by recommending, creating and/or reviewing training materials and other development tools, documents and resources including new product scripting.
  • Serve as a resource for team members on day-to-day job functions; assist while Supervisor is out of office or away from desk.
  • Attend meetings as needed on any new processes or system upgrades and then schedules and conducts sessions to train the IS team; serve as lead on projects, system enhancements and sales training.
  • Other duties as required to assist the Inside Sales Team with achieving goals including but not limited to territory tracking responsibility, Partnership request and Every Day Low Pricing tracking and accountability.

Experience:
  • Background in Natural Product industry or organic health and nutrition desirable.
  • Two Years of inside sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelors Degree is preferred but not required.

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.

This role is eligible to earn commission/sales incentives.
