A skilled sales manager is a valuable asset to any hotel business. Existing and new business is walking through our doors each day. Potential leisure, corporate, government, affinity, and sporting groups are all waiting to be discovered. Are you an individual who likes digging for clues and solving puzzles? Are you willing to talk with complete strangers to develop leads for new business and set up an organized schedule to visit and maintain existing business? The sales manager works closely with the General Manager and Director of Sales to develop an effective marketing plan and pursue the sales effort as described in the marketing plan.

Job Duties:

Establishes and maintains accounts, and develops relationships in the marketplace.

Identifies and researches competition, both locally and regionally.

Designs new programs and campaigns to develop additional sales from the various market niches.

Makes face-to-face sales calls.

Develops and maintains marketing plan and sales budget.

Maintains high visibility in the surrounding community and in the hospitality community.

Develops/Maintains Digital Marketing campaigns

Updates and Enhances Website.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of three years of sales experience required; hospitality sales preferred.

Outstanding communication and organizational skills (Oral and Written).

Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Some travel may be required.

Bonus opportunities will be available based on job performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
