Overview:
The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for the sales and promotion of masonry and concrete materials to contractors and the public, as well as any other products distributed by J.P. Carrara & Sons, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and maximize sales and promotion opportunities to offer product consulting services and solutions to commercial and residential masonry contractors, general contractors, and homeowners.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of JPC products to effectively service and adapt to the evolving needs of masonry customers.
• Act as a relationship manager for existing accounts while actively expanding the customer base through recruitment efforts.
• Perform warehouse, yard, and inventory duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of prior sales and service experience, preferably within the construction or commercial masonry products sectors.

• Strong customer service, communication and organizational abilities are essential.
• Proficiency in planning and basic math including geometry is required.
• Computer skills, including proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and point of sale software.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and lift objects weighing up to 95lbs.
• Forklift certification is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
