Full description of the position

We are seeking a driven and experienced IT Services Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships within our DoD Healthcare programs. You will act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying their IT needs and crafting solutions leveraging our comprehensive suite of services. Success requires a blend of relationship building, technical acumen, and a consultative sales approach.
Responsibilities
  • Build and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients, becoming a trusted advisor
  • Proactively identify client needs and opportunities for IT services
  • Develop and present customized solutions aligned with client goals and budget
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and closing
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing exceptional service and ongoing account management
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, support, engineering) to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the client account
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and service offerings
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in IT sales, account management, or a relevant role
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building successful client relationships
  • Strong understanding of IT services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and network solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite
