Full description of the position

This position will oversee Sales & Marketing for our Memory Care & Dementia Facility. Qualified candidates must have experience in healthcare, specifically working with referral sources and families regarding personal care and memory care needs, and have a working knowledge of CRM's. You will be ambitious, operationally-focused and results-driven with experience in developing relationship with local physicians, social workers, care coordinators and other potential referral sources. Candidates should also have a caring and empathetic approach to working with prospective residents and their families, as well as an in-depth understanding of how to assist families with their financial concerns as well as quality of care. This position will take direction form Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing. You must also be entrepreneurial, flexible, think outside of the box and be able to multi-task. Compensation: base salary with unlimited commission potential.

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for successfully meeting sales and census goals by developing and implementing strategies which ensure strong customer and referrer responsiveness, appropriate market penetration and a positive public image.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree or minimum of two years experience in sales or marketing or customer service, preferably in the health care field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of residents and fellow team members.
  • Must relate well to employees, residents and visitors.
  • Proven record of effective external sales, preferably with physicians, hospitals and other referral sources.
  • Must be reliable, have exemplary follow up, communications skills, ability to multi-task, and overall professionalism.
  • Completes tour, application, screening and sales process with potential residents, families and referral sources for each assigned facility.
  • Proactively meets and exceeds sales activity standards determined by Corporate Sales Director. These sales activity and marketing initiatives include but are not limited to database management, community tours, daily telephone lead base follow up calls, appointments, on site and off site sales activities, and other sales and marketing related performance metrics for each assigned facility.
  • Strong ability to build, foster, and grow relationships through daily marketing efforts.
  • Weekly ongoing engagement in external business development such as sales calls, networking, attending and hosting professional and lead generating events, participating in trade shows, and attending meetings in efforts to develop leads, tours, move-ins and professional relationships.
  • Extensive regional travel required.
