Full description of the position

We're looking for someone to be a Customer Service Representative for us, but with an emphasis on the sales calls and sales messages that come into our office. The job pays $15/hr, but sales commission will be paid for each sale that is closed. If there are no active leads to contact then this position will help assist the other CSRs with their daily tasks and projects.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for handling sales calls and sales messages, focusing on lead organization and closing sales. This position offers a competitive salary range of $15 to $30 per hour, including a base salary of $15/hour plus sales commissions. Job Overview:
As a Sales Representative at Magic City Pest Control LLC, you will play a crucial role in promoting our services, building relationships with potential customers, and driving business growth. You will be responsible for responding to sales inquiries, and actively engaging with potential clients to identify their needs and provide tailored solutions. In addition, you will assist other Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) with their daily tasks and projects during periods of low sales activity. This position also offers the potential for growth opportunities within our company.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to potential customers, introducing them to our services and identifying their pest control needs
  • Respond to sales inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels promptly and professionally
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing their concerns
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives by actively pursuing and closing sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using our CRM system
  • Assist other CSRs with their daily tasks and projects during periods of low sales activity
  • Stay updated with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities to enhance sales performance

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a customer service-oriented role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close sales and overcome objections
  • Self-motivated and target-driven individual with a passion for sales
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software and MS Office Suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in sales or marketing is a plus
