BACnet Applications or Support Engineer needed for immediate direct / hybrid opening in the Boston, MA area. The right person will be well-versed in BACnet communication protocols for building automation and control networks and be knowledgeable in HVAC and building control systems.

This person will share this knowledge working in tandem with engineering, sales, and post-sales directly with the customer. responsibilities:

• Act as front-line interface with HVAC customers and sales representatives, troubleshooting operational and technical issues
• Review and assist in the updating of company-based tools to improve and optimize the different processes associated with the phases of the project including pricing and estimating, design and layout, as well as the onboarding process
• Providing sales and engineering support at any/all phases of a project from pre-sales to post-commissioning and start-up
• Interface with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, and Technical Support to manage projects through fabrication and order fulfillment
• Analyzes problems, identifies probable causes, research, and designs solutions

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering or similar.
• 3+ years prior of related technical support experience, dealing with technical questions in a well-structured and professional fashion;
• Experience with BACnet (Building Automation and Control Networks)
• Strongly developed analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
