POSITION: Sales Manager

REPORTS TO: General Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling fun! This person will be responsible for working with various groups in the community as well as corporations to sell experiences within the park from sporting events to corporate team buildings to birthday celebrations. It is important for the Sales Manager to build connections within the community, attend community events, and be the ambassador the park to drive brand awareness and event business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Building relationships with local organizations and corporations in the community.

Respond to all sales leads and log all communications in a timely fashion (within 4 business hours).

Ability to promote brand awareness through innovative marketing avenues.

Acquire and retain business relationship that will lead to repeatable sales.

Detail oriented when working sales calls and leads.

Represent the Urban Air culture and sell it!

Constant communication with management team in regard to marketing needs as well as staffing needs for special events.

Ability to meet annual sales goals as laid out by General Manager.

Understanding of financial budgets and goals as it relates to sales and marketing.

Willingness to travel for sales calls as well as marketing events including, but not limited to, trade shows, corporate events, sponsorship events, etc.

Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for all guests and staff.

Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Urban Air operating standards and philosophies.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in hospitality is a MUST (Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, or Restaurants).

3+ years Sales experience required.

Able to pass a thorough background check.

CPR/First aid certification is preferred.

Demonstrated ability in developing team members in areas of responsibility.

Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude!

Proficient computer skills is a must Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Professional grooming and conduct must be constantly displayed to set an example for staff.

Ability to enthusiastically interact with others.

Adaptability, flexibility, and general enthusiasm for the business.

Strong communication skills; ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner.

Willing to learn and adapt to changes or challenges.

Ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management, and vendors.

Exercises good judgment in decision making.

Appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.).

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
